If you enjoy out of town and out of the country vacations, why not join a vacation club. And if you can afford it, make it a luxury vacation club. This will allow you several travel options and destinations.
You can visit various locations and avail of first class accommodations at your preferred schedule. In fact, you can even stay in a private resort if you so desire. And the club will facilitate the arrangements for you. Of course this first class treatment is available only if you are a member of a luxury vacation club. But this does not mean that regular ones do not offer much in terms of benefits.

The Advantage of a Vacation Club
Since a travel vacation club entails the pooling of members resources in order to purchase and maintain a particular property (or properties), a significantly smaller amount is needed in order to experience the benefits of owning a vacation facility or facilities. And at the same time, you get to share of whatever rental income there is.
Of course you do not get to enjoy the location 365 days a year. If that is your intention, then outright ownership is in order. But if your purpose is to have a place for vacation, you are likely to use the facility only a few days in a year, or at most a few weeks. And since a number of these clubs have tie-ups with other similar organizations, time sharing arrangements in other locations is possible. This increases your opportunity to visit other new and exciting places.
Choosing a Vacation Club
When choosing a vacation club, consider the destinations and locations they offer. If this is a luxury club you are looking at, private resort, luxury residences, and similar facilities are in order. And these should have above-average amenities. If you want to visit as many new places as possible, check their time-sharing network.
Are these the ones you want to visit? Does membership in this club allow you the flexibility to dictate your preferred schedule? How much lead time are you given if you want to effect changes in your vacation plans? And of course, you also have to consider the earning potential of the facilities.
